SAP’s, EPC’s and HIP’s

As of December 14th 2007, all existing homes placed on the property market require a HIP, of which an EPC is mandatory. From April 6th 2008, EPC accreditation comes into force on all dwellings built to Part L Building Regulations (2006).

From the 1st June 2008, the HIP (Including the EPC) must be available immediately the home is placed on the market. Up to this date the home can be marketed as soon as a HIP is commissioned, providing it is completed within 28 days.
